Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc. announced the award of a U.S. Navy contract to develop an advanced countermeasures decoy

Chester Township, PA - Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc. (ASC), of Chester Township, Pennsylvania, announced their selection to a Phase I effort to design a new countermeasure to defeat advanced infrared missiles. The developed countermeasure will be designated the MJU-67/B. The acquisition will include Phase I - evaluation samples and options for the following: Phase II - MJU-67/B development, developmental test samples, qualification test units, first article units and Phase III production options. The Phase I, if successful, will lead to a larger production effort.
