Chemring Energetics UK and MoD General Munitions IPT Sign Partnering Agreement

Chemring Energetics UK Ltd (CEUK) and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) General Munitions IPT (DGM IPT) have signed a Partnering Agreement for the provision and development of Demolition Munitions. The five-year Agreement covers the supply of a range of products worth in excess of £20m.
Mike Helme, Managing Director – Energetics Division said: “Chemring welcomes this agreement with the UK MoD, which facilitates our long term planning and underpins development and maintenance of critical UK capabilities, in line with the MoD’s Defence Industrial and Technology Strategies.
CEUK combines Leafield Engineering and Nobel Energetics in a single business unit which brings together a unique combination of capabilities including materials formulation and manufacture, electromechanical engineering and complex modelling. This partnering agreement builds on the long-standing relationships which both Leafield and Nobel have with DGM IPT, and demonstrates the sustained customer confidence in this combination of the two businesses.”
