Joined the Group as Chairman in June 1997. Chairman and / or Chief Executive of wide range of industrial companies since 1972.

Dr David Price - Chief Executive (52)
Joined the Group in April 2005 as Chief Executive.Formerly Managing Director, Naval Marine at Rolls-Royce plc. Previous appointments in the aerospace sector, include Managing Director of Thomson (UK) Holdings Ltd and Chief Executive of Thomson-Thorn Missile Electronics Ltd (both now part of the Thales Group). Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & technology.

Paul Rayner - Finance Director (46)
Joined the Group in 1994 and acted as Finance Director to several Group companies before being appointed to the Board in August 1999. Formerly a senior audit manager with Deloitte & Touche.

David Evans - Non-Executive Director (61)
Joined the Group in 1987 as Managing Director of the Countermeasures business and appointed to the Board in 1988. He took up his current position as a non-executive director in April 2005, after stepping down as Chief Executive, a position he had held since January 1999. Managing Director of the Marconi torpedo business prior to joining the Group. Currently a non-executive director of Whatman PLC.

Lord Freeman - Non-Executive Director (65)
Joined the Group as a non-executive director on 26 May 2006. Previous appointments include partnership with Lehman Brothers, MP from 1983 to 1997 and Minister in various departments, ending as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and chairs the Corporate Finance Advisory Board of Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He is a Director of Thales SA and Chairman of Thales UK.

Ian Much - Non-Executive Director (63)
Joined the Group as a non-executive director in December 2004. Chariman of the Remuneration Committee. Previous appointments include Chief Executive of De La Rue plc and T&N plc, and non-executive director of Admiral plc, Camelot plc and Manchester United plc. Currently a non-executive director of Senior plc and Simplyhealth Group Limited.

Sir Peter Norriss - Non-Executive Director (63)
Joined the Group as a non-executive director on 1 May 2004. Currently Chairman of Microturbo Limited, Senior Military Adviser of VEGA Group PLC and consultant within the aerospace and defence sectors. Formerly Deputy Chief of Defence Procurement (Operations) and Controller Aircraft. Past president of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
